It’s been a long time since the forming of We are the New Underground.
That summer of ten years back in 2014, formed an alliance of artists worldwide, via the Internet, and now we want to keep that torch going and continue with all the artists and the music lovers alike who support us. Some have been with us since the start, and some followed a little after. WEATNU is a movement, a machine, one that automates and helps people via their posting about us while spreading the word. It is self-promo in a walled garden internet, and we break through the walls they put up.
With our publication WEATNU Digital Magazine, WEATNU [OUR] Online Underground Radio and its label/s, people are heard. Experimental music is important and #WEATNU helps these artists yearly with its label WEATNU Records and sub-labels - such as Transmission Nova. Here on Substack we will post the daily happenings, monthly releases, info about the music scene in general, developments and finally our coming podcast to YouTube, which will discuss one-on-one via YouTube video with the artists we have on our roaster and beyond. I hope you join with us helping us further this cause.
